The Boston Red Sox have released their 2024 regular season schedule. The team will open the season on the road against the New York Yankees on March 28th. Their home opener is scheduled for April 1st against the Toronto Blue Jays.
The Red Sox will play a total of 162 games this season, including 81 home games and 81 away games. They will face each of their American League East rivals 19 times, and they will also play interleague games against the National League East and Central.
The Red Sox are coming off a disappointing 2023 season in which they finished with a record of 78-84. However, they are hoping to rebound in 2024 with a number of new additions to their roster, including outfielder Masataka Yoshida and infielder Trevor Story.
